baselines for what is normal FOR THAT MACHINE!

We develop an understanding of each system's "personality" and what the normal behaviors are for that
particular machine. We work with your IT folks to understand how
your environment operates and how your servers and applications
interact. When anything unusual (for that particular machine) happens, we immediately
investigate further.

Computers are like people. Very few people are 100% healthy one minute and dead the
next. It does happen, but typically there are symptoms in advance of death. If
someone was paying attention to these clues, tests could have been run to identify the
source of the trouble. Most of the time, corrective measures can be taken so that
death is not the inevitable outcome. Ditto for your systems. We consider ourselves
to have failed if one of our "patients" just dies.
